About Us

We are not an official wing of the Maharogi Sewa Samiti, but we are a tribute to them. Who we are is just a bunch of 22-year-olds rooting for a cause larger than life.

In 1949, Murlidhar Amte and his wife Sadhana Amte dedicated the rest of their lives towards the mission of restoring the dignity and standard of living of socially outcasts (Leprosy patients and tribals) and not just taking care of their treatment! Their sons, Dr. Vikas and Prakash Amte and their wives did the same. Currently, the third generation and their spouses have effectively taken charge of all the project. We are just dedicating a few hours of our life every week to make sure their service was never in vain.

Spreading the word, encouraging contributions from the people around us and supporting Anandvan's requirements, is the least we could do to lend a helping hand to a community that is ignored and secluded by the masses.
